Christian Sommer has always processed information with a pen in his hand, “… even in my school days I scribbled all over my notebooks on the side, even if here the information sent did not always go hand in hand with what was drawn.”

In the meantime, I have made a profession out of the urge to draw, can look back on almost 20 years as an illustrator and may now quite officially “scribble all over” everything, but no longer just on the side, but on point.

I plan and think with the pen, structure my thoughts and visualize my ideas and those of my clients.

A picture says more than 1000 words and exactly this principle works especially in strategic illustration and graphic recording. Filtering and compressing information to the essentials generates a visual thread that helps the listener or viewer, in addition to the spoken or written, to understand complex issues easier and to be able to better orient themselves in a flood of information.
