Event Facilitation
EVENTS THAT ACTUALLY CREATE CHANGE
Good meetings and events can be inspiring in the moment. Great ones change something. We facilitate your strategy workshops, offsites, town halls and large group events so that participants become active contributors and something genuinely new can emerge. Our approach is participatory, engaging and focused on impact.
As part of our Facilitation for Transformation, we combine professional facilitation with visualization.
- Participatory: We involve everyone in the room instead of having three people speak while thirty listen.
- Engaging: We design formats that keep people involved and create genuine interaction.
- Effective: We create tangible results that continue to have an impact beyond the event.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Events without impact?
Months of preparation. A packed agenda. An expensive venue. Or the third strategy meeting about exactly the same topic. At the end, everyone returns to their desk and nothing is really different.
- No change: The meeting was enjoyable, but on Monday everyone continues working exactly as before.
- No participation: Presentations replace genuine interaction and participants remain an audience.
- High investment without results: A lot of time and budget goes into a day that creates energy in the moment but little lasting impact.
The difference is rarely the agenda itself. It is how people are guided through the process.
-
Who is it for?
For people responsible for making an important format work, whether it is a town hall, strategy offsite, conference or large group event.
- This is for you if..
- Many people are coming together and you need tangible outcomes, not just presentations.
- Previous events created a good atmosphere but little changed afterwards.
- You need neutral external facilitation so you can participate in the conversation instead of managing the process yourself.
- The topic is complex and everyone needs to leave with a shared understanding.
-
Less suitable if...
You are looking purely for someone to host the agenda or moderate the stage without working on the content and group process.
Our focus is on what happens between people and what the event actually creates, not simply announcing the next speaker.
WE HELP YOU WITH
Facilitation that gets people involved
We design and facilitate meetings, workshops and events so that everyone in the room becomes an active participant. This can range from a weekly leadership meeting to a strategy workshop or a large group conference.
- Professional Facilitation: We guide people through the process, create meaningful participation and keep the overall direction clear so that tangible results can emerge.
- Strengthened through visualization: If useful, the conversation is captured live as a visual, for example through Graphic Recording. This keeps what was developed visible long after the event itself.
Visualization becomes especially powerful when it is integrated into the facilitation process. This is at the heart of our Visual Facilitation approach.
OUR APPROACH
Methods that create participation
We know what it feels like to sit in a meeting where one person speaks at the front while everyone else watches the clock.
And we know how much potential remains unused in those situations. The experience, ideas and energy of people who actually want to contribute. Across more than 20 years and over 1,000 meetings, workshops and events, we have learned which formats truly get people moving.
Three approaches shape our work:
- Art of Hosting: The art of creating spaces in which meaningful conversations can happen. People speak with each other instead of about each other. They support the results because they actively helped create them.
- Liberating Structures: Proven formats designed to involve everyone. Instead of three people talking while thirty listen, everyone contributes. Often the most valuable ideas emerge from places nobody expected.
- Visual Facilitation: The process becomes visible while it is happening.
A shared visual helps organise thoughts, connect perspectives and capture what the group has developed. These methods are not an end in themselves. They are the craft that can turn a meeting into a turning point.
This can happen in an innovation workshop, as described in Visual Facilitation for Innovation and Design Thinking, or during a transformation process where resistance can become genuine engagement. You can read more about this in Visual Facilitation for Change Management.
HOW WE WORK
Three steps to your event
Start with a free initial conversation with no obligation. From there, we design the process that fits your event, your people and the outcome you want to create.
1. Initial conversation
We listen. What is the occasion? Who is coming together? What should be different afterwards? Within 30 minutes, we develop a shared understanding of what the event really needs to achieve.
Free and without obligation.
2. Event design
We design the overall flow of your event. Based on your objective, participants and setting, we select the right formats, create a meaningful progression and decide together where visualization can strengthen the process.
3. Your Event
We facilitate the day and keep the overall direction clear. This involves everyone in the room, respond to what emerges and make sure that the event produces tangible results your team can support and carry forward.
YOUR NEXT STEP
What event are you planning?
Tell us about it in a free 30 minute initial conversation. You bring the occasion and your objectives. We bring our experience from more than 1,000 meetings, workshops and events. There is nothing you need to prepare.
Bring your questions and together we will make the next steps clear.

FAQ
A facilitator guides people through the process, keeps the overall direction clear and makes sure participants are actively involved.
For us, this means designing the overall flow, creating genuine interaction instead of one way communication and making sure the event produces tangible results that your team can support.
The foundation for this is our Visual Facilitation approach.
That depends on the duration, number of participants and level of preparation involved.
A half day strategy workshop requires a different setup from a conference with a large group taking place over several days.
During the free initial conversation, we clarify your requirements and provide you with a transparent price.
Our article about the ROI of Visualization explains the measurable value visualization can add.
Both are possible.
Facilitation and visualization become especially powerful when they are designed together. The process becomes visible while it happens and the shared visual remains as a tangible result afterwards.
You can learn more about the format on our Graphic Recording page.
We can also facilitate your event without visualization if that better fits your needs.
From leadership meetings and strategy workshops to offsites and large group conferences.
Our facilitation works wherever people need to participate actively and something tangible should emerge from their time together.
That could be a shared Target Visual, a clear strategy or a common direction.
We also use these formats as part of our AI Transformation work.
We work with approaches including Art of Hosting, Liberating Structures and Visual Facilitation.
These methods help everyone contribute, create meaningful conversations and produce results that are supported by the group.
Yes. We facilitate meetings and workshops in person, online and in hybrid settings.
Especially with distributed teams, live visualization can create a shared point of focus and make conversations easier to follow.
You can find practical examples in our article about Visual Facilitation in hybrid work environments.
